What would you do if everyone knew?

There are many reasons to do the right thing. One obvious is that it will help you and everyone around you survive, and be happy. If you find yourself not happy or trying to control others to your own agenda and getting frustrated, if people are irritating you or if you just can't seem to get anywhere, you should take a look at what you are doing.

Ask this:
Would I be upset if everyone knew? My friends, my mom, the police?

Here are some examples that will cause you some great distress and keep you from being effective in a group and as an individual:

Have you taken something that doesn't belong to you?

Are you watching or making porn?

Do you use drugs?

Have you lied about something?

Are you afraid someone will find out?

This is just a start for this subject as there are many more but if you are doing any of the above you will never be happy and will never succeed.

So stop.

Fix the damage you may have done and don't even ask for forgiveness before making up the damage.

If you do any of the above chances are you feel the need to control the actions of others because they can't be trusted when in fact it is you, that can't be trusted.

So cowboy up, and fix it because the world needs more criminals like another a bomb. Anyone who exposes you for these out points is actually doing you a favor long term because as long as you get away with it the more damage it will do to you and to those around you.

Now I'm not in favor of the judicial system's method of punishment for reform, as there is none in punishment but an individual cannot reform himself if he has no self respect and that is the goal.

Self respect is only present when you know you can be a benefit to those around you. That means letting them think and do for themselves and helping them in what is what they want help in, not what you think is good for them.(yeah deal with it)

Anger is the symptom of weakness in these areas.
Ethics is the only way to free yourself of this bondage and start developing self respect. If you can't even control yourself why would anyone listen to you?

But if you anger easily read the above again.
Are you afraid that I will expose you?

Then you're asking the wrong questions. You should be asking for help.

I am not threatened, or intimidated by anger.
I just see it as weakness, and so should you.
